Third Annual Tailgate for Kids

We’re excited to announce the return of Tailgate for Kids, now entering its third year and proudly benefiting Caring & Sharing Learning School!

This high-energy community fundraiser brings together local businesses, families, University of Florida supporters, and community leaders for an unforgettable game-day experience featuring Gator Football on the big screen, incredible food and adult beverages from local vendors, tailgate games, auctions, entertainment, networking opportunities, and more.

Over the past two years, Tailgate for Kids has helped raise more than $100,000 for local youth-focused nonprofits and initiatives throughout our community.

This year’s event will support Caring & Sharing Learning School’s mission to educate, empower, and inspire students while providing children with the academic foundation, resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through its commitment to educational excellence and serving families in our community, Caring & Sharing is helping build brighter futures for the next generation.

Your participation and support will directly help expand educational opportunities for local children and families while continuing to grow Tailgate for Kids as one of Gainesville’s most impactful community events.

Why we do it

Caring & Sharing Learning School is dedicated to helping children achieve academic excellence while developing the confidence, character, and leadership skills they need to thrive. Serving students from VPK through 5th grade, the school combines data-driven instruction, differentiated learning, high expectations, extended learning opportunities, and strong family and community involvement to meet the individual needs of every student.

Each student benefits from an educational approach built around their individual strengths and areas for growth, with academic progress used to help guide personalized instruction. Beyond the classroom, Caring & Sharing provides after-school enrichment, summer STEM programming, and social-emotional learning opportunities designed to educate and empower the whole child.

By investing in students academically and personally, Caring & Sharing is building the next generation of positive school and community leaders, giving children the foundation they need to succeed in school, in their communities, and beyond.
